APES Homepage
APES
is an advanced interdisciplinary
course that prepares students for the national AP exam, using college
text and requiring college level skills. The students will
understand the interrelationships of the natural world, identify and
analyze environmental problems, and evaluate the relative risks of and
possible solutions for these problems
APES resources available on these pages include a current APES Course Calendar and a Course Outline. You can access a wide variety of APES resources through the AP links page. Older chapter notes for APES can be accessed using the pulldown menu just down the page. Many of the documents are in Adobe PDF format. Course notes, homework, labs, review sheets and other important
documents can be found here as Acrobat PDF (Portable
Document
Format)
files. To view and print these files, you will need to install the free
Adobe Acrobat Reader program on your computer. If you don't have
Acrobat Reader installed on your computer, the program can be
downloaded from the Adobe Website.
Documents are posted in PDF format for several reasons. First, it saves
download time for you and server space for us. Second, the PDF
documents are true replicas of documents used in class and are printer
friendly in a way that web pages are not.
